Which Tentipi Model Should I Choose?
Tentipi Nordic Tipi Adventure Tents come in three different flavours and five different sizes, and both the popular cotton polyester and the lighter weight Light versions (including the Olivin for back packing). The choice can seem overwhelming, but a quick call to ProAdventure on 01978860605 can answer all your questions.
Ease of Pitching and Wind Resistance
If you want a spacious tent that is easy and quick to pitch, then choose a tentipi, you really are looking at sub 3 minutes to pitch sizes 5, 7 and 9 and less than 10 minutes for a size 15 Tentipi Tent. Just use the measuring cord and template to place 8 pegs (16 for a size 15), hook the tent on the pegs, raise the pole and tension the ground straps and your Tentipi is up and ready for shelter from the elements, sun or rain, hot or cold tentipi are superb.
Inner Tents and Floors
All Tentipi Nordic Tents can be used with or without an inner tent, you may use an inner to control condensation in the Safir, Zirkon and Onyx light Tentipi but the ventilation options can be used to reduce condensation in the Light models, the Safir has the best ventilation and the Onyx the least.
Half inners are available for the 7 and 9 sizes, as are half floors and half fleece floors.

Basic Differences between Onyx, Zirkon and Safir Tentipi Tents
The Tentipi Onyx has the least ventilation options and will last for many years, the least popular of the models is still a very good tent with aircraft grade aluminium pole and pegs.
The Tentipi Zirkon has better top vents, a low level air vent that is good when using a stove or fire in the Tentipi, a super tough lower skirt and the pegs and pole are a higher grade of aluminium than the Onyx. The Zirkonflex is a special event tent, a smaller version of the Giant Tentipi you may have seen at a wedding or festival.
The Tentipi Safir is the top of the range and also the most popular option. The materials are stronger and more UV resistant, there are three low level air vents making the Tentipi Safir a cool place even on very hot summer days. This is most peoples tent of choice, those that invest their money in a Safir are very happy with their tent for decades as the members of the Tentipi User Group UK will tell anyone who asks.
