We have our next camp set up for all of you Tentipi owners out there, here are the details,
May 1st to 5th 2025 Tyn Cornel Camping, Fron Goch, Bala, North Wales. Booking should open in November. If you don't have your own Tentipi Tent why not pop by for a chat with those who do.
A casual meet up organised by Pete and Lesley at ProAdventure. You can book direct with the campsite for as many days as you want. Call the site to book please, pay them direct. Please ring the site on 07859 431630 or email
[email protected] please. Don't forget to tell them you are booking for the Tentipi Camp. We will be there sometime on Wednesday and will bring our own Tentipi and our Zirkonflex. We'll do some walking, running and boating. There are 20 pitches available on the riverside field but book early as it is a Bank Holiday Weekend.
We aren't planning on organising too much formally, but let us know in the event chat if you have booked and any plans you wish to share.
The site is on the banks of the River Tryweryn, which has a grade 3/4 section with the lower from the site being grade 2/3 with one 4. There is free access to the lower from the campsite if you are camping. Commercial white water rafting runs on the upper.
Bala lake is a few miles away near Bala, with boat hire available.
You can walk up Arenig Fawr from the site or take lower level walking routes.
We hope some of you can make it for a day or few of Tentipi camping and conversation, the Zirkonflex is there for all of us to enjoy, chat and socialise. The site has proper toilet and shower blocks.
The Highland Tentipi Gathering 2024 is organised by members of the Tentipi User Group and is at the
Ace adventures campsite near the River Findhorn from 28th October to 1st November. Please book directly with Linda at Ace.
Unfortunately we can't make it due to staff family holidays but Lesley and I will be there in spirit.
We had a great couple of days at the Yorkshire gathering this year with friendship, food and music.
If you meet Jim there ask about going up to visit the Sami in Lapland, he goes up to the winter fair to camp each year.
