Don't forget to tell them you are booking for the Tipi-Camp. We will be there sometime on Thursday 23rd April and will bring our own Tentipi and our Zirkonflex for group campfires. There are up to 20 pitches available so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Campfires and stoves are allowed if off the ground. Good quality kiln dried wood is better for your stove and the environment. Charcoal and heat logs are available to buy from the campsite.
This will be our third camp at Carrog and we have always been made very welcome here. We are in a different field this time so no crossing the road to go for a shower!
We will have a campfire lit every evening and there will be cake! Join us for a singsong and if you have a Ukelele, guitar or even a double bass we welcome you to bring it along for merriment!
during the day we'll likely be doing some walking, running and boating and some swimming in the river if you are brave enough! You are more than welcome to join us or to do your own thing. The steam railway to Llangollen and Corwen is on the doorstep. Llangollen and its attractions (including a fabulous outdoor shop!) is only 7 miles away. There are various outdoor activity providers in the area if you want excitement and there is a lovely pub in Carrog called the Grouse Inn (booking recommended for food on 01490 430272) Theres a list of things to do in the area on the campsites website.
