Fizan

Domenico Fincati founded FIZAN in 1947 and was the first in the world to produce ski poles using aluminium. This innovation quickly set a new standard which their competitors followed by moving away from using steel or bamboo. Today Fizan is world leader in the ski and trekking pole market, while keeping its roots in the Veneto region, Italy.

Fizan reduces their environmental impact with 100% recyclable packaging, and composed of material from forests managed in a responsible and sustainable way. The inks used are water based (nontoxic). Every single item produced is easily disposable for recycling.

For almost 10 years Fizan has invested in the photovoltaic system thus becoming self-sufficient for about 60% of its needs and avoiding the annual emission of around 25,000 kg of CO2.
