ProAdventure Tentipi Gatherings and Camps
ProAdventure are pioneers of tipicamps in the UK, learning by experience and from our European friends. We gather once or twice a year with tipi owners across the country to socialise, play and swap ideas. We held the UK's first Tentipi Camp 2 years ago on the banks of the River Dee, attended by over 60 people. There were bushcraft activities, canoeing and plenty of opportunity to talk around the campfire. Our 2016 camp, held in the Welsh borders was just as popular with old friends and new enjoying the scenery and activities offered by our campsite hosts at Underhill Farm.
2017 brings two camps. The first was at Carrog on the River Dee in May. We threw axes, had a teddy bears picnic and walked to the hillfort at Caer Drewyn. We also broke out our new Uuni 3 Pizza oven and made 36 pizzas in an hour and a half so will be trying to break that record at our September camp in Bala.
We would love to invite you along to our next camp. If you have your own Tentipi thats great and if you are interested in buying Tentipi we have a few for hire but be quick as they go fast. We will be staying at Pant yr Onnen campsite right on the edge of Bala lake so it's ideal for canoeists and kayakers, swimmers and anyone who loves to be near water.
Our Bala camp is from 29th Sept to 1st October and there are further details and booking information at the link below. A family of four complete with activities and tipi hire is just £149 and a couple with their own tipi will be £85. Other pricing options are available on the other side of the link!
The campsite are very kindly holding pitches until the end of July so we need as many booking in by then to secure the private use of the field so please book now and if you cant afford the full payment up front, choose the deposit option. We will be in touch to check your requirements
