ProAdventure Tentipi Gatherings and Camps
ProAdventure are pioneers of tipicamps in the UK, learning by experience and from our European friends. We gather once or twice a year with tipi owners across the country to socialise, play and swap ideas. We held the UK's first Tentipi Camp 2 years ago on the banks of the River Dee, attended by over 60 people. There were bushcraft activities, canoeing and plenty of opportunity to talk around the campfire. Our 2016 camp, held in the Welsh borders was just as popular with old friends and new enjoying the scenery and activities offered by our campsite hosts at Underhill Farm.
This is what we have planned so far,
Friday Night Fika - Coffee and Cake
Saturday Morning - Learn to spoon Carve with Roj the Oblivious Gnome
Saturday Afternoon Jamie from the Wild Bushcraft Company is back with a whole Deer which he will show you how to skin and turn into all the meat a deer provides, and then it's cooking time.
At some point before the wine is open we will do some axe throwing.
Saturday evening we will arrange a talk which is not yet finalised.
Sunday morning starters will be a Tai Chi session with Ed from Carrog after that Pete will jump on the river with any canoeists who have their kit to play at lining and tracking. If you're not a paddler you might want to re enact last years Teddy Bears picnic.
