Traditional boot makers in Richmond in North Yorkshire.

In 1989, after a large shoe factory closed down, a few of the redundant staff got together to form Altberg. Since then they went from strength to strength providing military, police, motorbiking and hiking boots/shoes. Custom boots are also made.
Custom boots and short runs are made in Richmond with the more popular lines made in Italy.
