This Fallkniven hunting knife has its roots in the classic north Scandinavian knife-building tradition. The ergonomically complete design is the result of years of searching for the perfect hunting knife, where blade and handle harmonize in an indivisible symbiosis. The 5 mm thick convex-ground blade continues at almost full width through the handle and is exceptionally strong due to the hard and resilient special steel. The ample handle consists of net-textured Kraton rubber, which gives agreeable, comfortable grip. Since the knife lacks ordinary finger guards, this Fallkniven knife is recommended for those experienced in hunting or outdoor life, who can safely handle an advanced knife such as the Mod H1. The sheath is manufactured in black ox hide and is of the open, hinged type - most favoured by hunters and anglers in northern Scandinavia. The leather sheath is deep enough to hold the knife in place without extra fasteners. |

Carbon Steel Lapp Puukko Bushcraft Knife with FREE honing stone
This traditional outdoor knife is well made and respected. The blade is narrow enough for comfortable carving and strong enough for battoning for heavier cutting and light splitting. The birch handle has a polished brass cap, which will take some battoning without real damage (in my experience).
Choose the carbon blade for ease of sharpening and a brilliant edge, or the stainless blade if working near the sea.
