We are open for courier deliveries and collections Monday to Thursday 12-5.
If you are local and wish to buy from us please contact us in these hours and we will arrange for you to pay before collection to minimise contact points and contact time. Please wait at the door and we will come to you.
You can order for collection from us on our website or, get in touch by phone, message or chat and we can send you payment link and arrange a collection time.
Mail order is running as normal but couriers may take longer to deliver.
|Making A Purchase|
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit card and debit card payments, to order over the phone or check stock please call us on 01978 860605.
We accept Visa and Mastercard, Switch and Maestro. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may give your credit card information via phone, snail mail or securely over the Internet.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
|Shipping And HandlingDelivery|
Couriers are currently still collecting from us Monday to Thursday.
Standard shipping is for UK Zone 1 mainland addresses excluding Highlands and Islands*. Other areas** and international rates*** are calculated at the checkout.
Standard shipping £4.95 for a 2-3 day tracked service. We use Royal Mail 48 and Parcelforce 48 and DPD tracked services.
Orders over £100 qualify for free standard shipping in Mainland UK except for the Scottish Highlands. Highlands and Islands orders ove £300 are carriage free, Northern Ireland is free over £500.
UPS Standard is also available at cost, this is a next day service in most areas, but two days close to Christmas.
Expedited (1-2 day) shipping is £11.00 (mainland UK not Highlands). We use Royal Mail 24 Tracked, Special Delivery, DPD next day and Parcelforce 24 tracked services depending on size, weight and time of day.
We do our best to ship all orders on the same working day but if we receive your order after 11am we may be forced to ship the following working day due to variable mail collections. This means Monday for an order placed after 11am on Friday. If your order is urgent please call us on 01978 860605.
*Zone 2 Highlands and Islands of Scotland - postcodes IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE. Orders under 2kg are £5. Orders over 2kg are more expensive and calculated at checkout.
**Zone3 Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly under 2kg is £5.05. Orders over 2kg are more expensive and calculated at checkout
***International order charges are shown at the checkout, these are based on weight but we will check the weights and contact you if there is a change in the carriage fee. Its usually fairly accurate.
Taxes and duties and associated fees for orders from outside the European Economic Community are not included in our pricing and are the purchasers responsibility.
Christmas delivery can be tricky so we recommend that you order early. Age Verification for bladed items is often an issue so please look out for emails from us. We use Parcelforce or Royal mail special delivery for next day orders, which will leave us same working day your order is received, provided it reaches us by midday, and is quickly age verified by you, Royal mail and Parcelforce guarantee these services even at Christmas. We can't guarantee delivery before dates but hope our courier services live up to their promises. Other services slow down nearer Christmas and take longer.
Couriers do not collect from us on Christmas Eve or New Years Eve.
|Delivery Schedule We deliver your order as quickly as we can. We will normally dispatch your order to you the same or following business day . International orders are generally received in under 14 days.|
We aim to dispatch goods on the same working day if you order before 1pm.
Cut off for next day delivery is 11:00 AM
Couriers will deliver to a secure location if you are out so please tell us where, Royal Mail Require a signature and will take unsccessfully delivered packages back to their nearest depot, leaving a 'while you were out' card with instructions for collection/re-delivery.
|Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.|
|Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is included on Taxable products. All other orders are VAT free.|
|Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website it is either by paypal or securely via Actinic Payments. Both are PCI DSS compliant payment systems, so your card details are secure and no person has access to your card details.|
|Guarantee All products come with one years manufacturers guarantee, and can be returned in the original packing and condition for a refund withing 7 days of receipt if you are unhappy with the goods.|

6. Sharing your personal data
Your personal data will be treated as strictly confidential, and will be shared only with our contracted data processors. These include but are not limited to Google (email and document storage), Teclan Ltd (email marketing and web design and maintenance), Feefo (customer feedback), 192.com (age verification), GBG PLC (address lookup), Microsoft 365 (data backups), Xero (accounting), VendHQ (electronic point of sale).
7. How long do we keep your personal data?
We keep your personal data for no longer than reasonably necessary and we only retain your data for the following purposes and use the following criteria to determine how long to retain your personal data. General sale data is kept for up to four years, accounting data for up to six years, employee data for up to four years after the end of your work with us.
8. Providing us with your personal data
If you are joining our email newsletter list, social media groups, pages or following you are under no statutory or contractual requirement or obligation to provide us with your personal data. But failure to do so will have the following consequences, we won't be able to present any information to you.

OUR MAILING LIST IS HOSTED IN THE EEA, AS IS OUR WEB HOSTING. WHERE PERSONAL DATA IS TO BE TRANSFERRED OUTSIDE THE EEA, THIS MAY BE SECURED ON GOOGLE, AMAZON OR MICROSOFT 365 SERVERS ALL OF WHICH ARE SECURED WITH TWO FACTOR AUTHENTICATION. DATA ON OUR TILL SYSTEM MAY BE STORED OR TRANSFERRED OUT OF THE EEA, VENDHQ STORE AND SECURE THIS DATA AND PROCESS IT ON OUR BEHALF.
11. Automated Decision Making
WE DO NOT USE ANY FORM OF AUTOMATED DECISION MAKING IN OUR BUSINESS.

If we wish to use your personal data for a new purpose, not covered by this Data Privacy Notice, then we will provide you with a new notice explaining this new use prior to commencing the processing and setting out the relevant purposes and processing conditions.

Your contract with us lasts for 30 days or until you receive the goods, whichever is shorter.
Guarantees extend for a minimum of 12 months from the date you receive the goods.
Other goods may be returned to us within 14 days of receipt in their original condition with all tags labels etc. for a refund excluding carriage. If the goods have been changed or used more than required to make sure that they are suitable, we may reduce the refund on the goods by an amount up to the purchase price.
