We include Abseiling in all of our Rock Climbing courses, but what if you don't fancy climbing? In that case, our Abseiling experience in Llangollen, North Wales, is the perfect option for you! The Abseiling experience is available on any date for 2 or more people. 

Course Description

Almost everyone feels the need to try abseiling once in their lifetime. Whether you are a bag of nerves or an adrenaline junkie you can feel safe with our qualified and experienced instructors, as you descend a cliff in control of your own abseil rope with a safety rope controlled by your instructor.

Details

Course outline:

Meet at the cliffs high above Llangollen, where we kit you out with a harness and a helmet, give you a safety briefing and guide you down an 85 foot abseil down a limestone cliff.

What’s included?

We provide all necessary specialist equipment. You need to wear warm, sensible outdoor clothes and sturdy trainers or boots. Bring a set of waterproofs just in case.

Times:

Our Abseiling Experience sessions run at the following times:

Morning - 9:00am-10:30am   or   10:45am-12:15pm
Afternoon - 1:30pm-3:00pm   or   3:15pm-4:45pm

The Abseiling experience is available on any dates for 2 or more people.

Prices:

The standard price for the Abseiling Experience is £50pp for adults or £45pp for under 18s.

Groups of 4 or more will receive a 10% discount, and groups of 8 or more will receive a 15% discount.

Minimum age:

For family sessions the minimum age for this course is 8 years.

For all other sessions the minimum age is 14 years.

All under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible participating adult.

Transport & Accommodation

Transport:

Unless otherwise agreed on booking, you will need to provide your own transport from our centre to the activity venue. Please be aware you may need to carry wet kit in your car, so ensure you have a towel or similar to line your boot / seats with.

Accommodation:

We can book local accommodation on your behalf if you require. We use a variety of local hotels, guesthouses, B&Bs, and independent hostels , and can book accommodation at three standards, depending on your needs:

Bunkhouse/Hostel (from £25pppn) - This shared dormitory-style accommodation (usually with 4 to 10 beds per room) is great for groups or those on a budget!

Standard 3 Star (from £45pppn) - Cheerful and welcoming, this accommodation is ideal for those who want a homely base from which to take part in activities and explore the area.

Luxury 3 Star (from £55pppn) - Perfect for those who want a bit of luxury and added comfort. Some establishments have spa facilities and beauty treatments available to guests, to help you relax after a busy day!

During peak periods a single supplement of £20pppn may apply - we will let you know if this is the case when you book.

All accommodation is provided on a Bed and Breakfast basis - evening meals and packed lunches are usually available by pre-arrangement - please enquire at the time of booking.

Throughout the year we regularly visit all our accommodation providers, to ensure the standards are what you would expect.
