Do you want to try a paddle sport but have never been in a Kayak or Open Canoe before? Maybe you’ve done a little flat-water paddling before, and would like to try something a bit more exciting! Or your a budding expert and want to hone your skills With a huge variety of courses available beginner to expert, ProAdventure has something for everyone! Set in the gorgeous North Wales, we have access to a variety of water that will keep you coming back for more, from tranquil lakes, to gorgeous canals, amazing day long white water rivers and big bouncy drops.
For all of our Paddlesport courses we can provide you with a wetsuit, buoyancy aid, spray jacket, helmet and all other necessary equipment. You will need to bring a towel, a swimsuit and an old pair of trainers (which will probably get wet!).

Kayaking Situated right in the centre of Llangollen, we’re well placed for paddle sports, with easy access to both Thomas Telford’s canal and the world-famous River Dee just a few minutes away from our base! Whether you want a flat water taster, a white water course or advanced playboating skills coaching, we can offer it! With a wide range of boats to suit different people and different styles of paddling, we can tailor any of our courses to your needs.

Open Canoeing Open Canoeing is a great activity, fun for all the family at whatever level you paddle. As with all of our other activities, whether it’s a taster session you want, an introduction to white water or a wilderness paddling experience, we’ve covered all the options, and we can customise any of our courses for your specific needs. Just load up and jump in with your paddling partner for the ideal introduction to a brilliant pastime, which may just take over your life!
