Course Description You can paddle, You have the passion and the drive, you want to get down rivers. but not sure about where to go, or never led yourself down rivers. Well we have the staff and knowledge to help you out. Our qualified staff can guide you down a variety of rivers helping you with all aspects of it from logistics, planning and safety tips as well as some coaching where required on the way down. Equipment hire is available for this, but we recommend using your own. I was part of a guided river trip last weekend, and wanted to pass on my to Rich Slater for such a fantastic day on the River Tryweryn!
From the meet & greet at the ProAdventure shop right through to the debrief at the end, Rich was a fantastic guide who inspired confidence in all the members of our group. His tips and advice were invaluable and the way he delivered them were spot-on, as was the banter between all four of us! It only took a few minutes on the water before it felt we were paddling with a great mate rather than a guide/coach.

Rich greeted us at ProAdventure on Saturday morning. We made our way to the start of the lower section of the River Tryweryn, where he briefed us all and then checked out our skills and continued to lead us. We all took a swim at some point but as Rich observed the rules of CLAP he was at the ready to help immediately which gave us huge confidence in him. Throughout the day he also gave us some great tips on our paddling and was a great guy to be paddling with, almost one of our group, ending up with a de-brief. So thanks ProAdventure for arranging our guide for the day - it was a great success. Look forward to the next one.
