I just thought I’d send a quick note to thank you for 2 great days on the crags. Personally, I was worried I was going to join a course with a set syllabus that wouldn’t really meet my needs but I was really pleased you took the time to understand my requirements and tailored the course to suit. I now feel confident to take my family into the crags and know that we can have some safe fun. Having a different instructor on each day was good to see the different styles and approach for setting up. I found Richard’s approach very easy to follow and letting us loose in a non-threatening area was an excellent way of exposing us to the skills and techniques without exposing us to any risk. I loved the top rope set up Scotty demonstrated using a single rope and the time to practice further once back at the centre was excellent; I just need to get out there and get some practice on the crags now!! Once again, thanks for your help and encouragement on the course and I know I’ll be back to learn to lead with my wife in the near future! We were obviously very fortunate with the weather - in terms of the volume of water - which made it a serious venture rather than a trot down a stream bed!

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for a great day on Saturday. Matt was loads of fun and was very encouraging when after about 10 minutes James wanted to get out of the kayak and Matt gave him a tow. The boys loved falling in the canal and especially loved the "seal-launching" off the edge. Spud was an absolute star! We all loved the rock climbing and abseiling. Both leaders were great guys and we considered ourselves very lucky to have been assigned Matt and Spud. We will be back and will recommend you to anyone we think is mad enough! Hi There I just wanted to say thanks for a great weekend on the 29th/30th September. Hi Sal, Just wanted to say thanks for organising our events last weekend. We all had a great time and all seemed to learn something about ourselves, each other and how we can all work as a team. Considering that two of our group were frightened of being immersed in water, two were petrified of heights and one of enclosed spaces (I didn’t know this beforehand), we all worked well to help people overcome their fears, and as such, they got very much more out of the two days than some of us who have done this stuff before. Hi Sal I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed yesterday's Mountain Biking with Tony. The level of exhaustion/level of adventure balance was just right, we even got to visit the top of the castle, and “downhill” the other side. Some riding along the canal at the end was quite relaxing. I have just returned from your brilliant bushcraft & survival weekend run by Garrick & Adie. I learnt a lot from them both had fun doing it as well. Highlight of the weekend was skinning, cooking & eating the rabbit. Low of the weekend was not being able to get my fire started, but it has pushed me on to take what I have learnt on the course and improve my skills. As they say practise makes perfect. I know we had difficult condition with the weather. Over all I had a brilliant time and would book again.

Hi Sal, Thank you so much for organising the white water rafting session that I did with my 6 friends yesterday (Sun 8th July), we all had a great time and are gearing ourselves up for gorge walking next (once our aching muscles have recovered!!) On Monday June 25th we two rather apprehensive and mature in years ladies arrived in Llangollen to try white water rafting. Even with such unseasonable weather it was a shock to find that the river level was so high and the water was running so fast, and we wondered just how we would cope. It was brilliant, and so exhilarating! Our thanks to Pete and Warwick who made us feel so confident and at ease the whole time. Hi Peter, I just wanted to drop you a line to say that we all had a great time last week - all of the events were excellent. For me the highlight was the Gorge walking but I really enjoyed the whole experience. The Hotel was good too – thanks for recommending it. I spent the last weekend on your learn to climb package, and I would like to let you know how much I enjoyed the activity. Jim Ozanne was excellent as our guide - we learnt to set up a rig, deal with all of the basic components in the craft of rock-climbing, climb the most suitable slopes and, most importantly, he gave us the confidence to deal with the challenge of rock-climbing & abseiling. "Many, many thanks for an absolutely wonderful weekend. It went down very well with all involved and despite some initial trepidation from many of the armchairey types in the party as we began our walk up the river, everybody really enjoyed themselves.
