Explore Bushcraft and Survival - Course Content

Friday night - arrive at the ProAdventure office in Llangollen at 7pm for a briefing. You will then proceed (in your own transport unless otherwise agreed) to your camp in the forest. Please make sure you have eaten dinner before you arrive.

Both nights will be spent sleeping in hand-built shelters and the course will include a mixture of demonstrations, lecturettes, and personal practice.

The end time is not fixed but will be about Sunday lunchtime between 1pm and 4pm depending on how tired everyone is. We advise you not to drive long distances home when you may be short on sleep!

The aim of this 2 day course is to introduce you to basic skills and techniques that, with further practice, will allow you to be self-sufficient and survive in the outdoors. It will also include bushcraft, traditional and military skills and knowledge. The course is fully catered from breakfast on Saturday onwards, and not at all militaristic in presentation or content.
