DMM Fatboy HMS Screwgate Karabiner

The Fatboy is our classic HMS belay carabiner.

It has a deceptively simple design and yet provides a perfectly round and very generous 12.0mm rope radius - so it is very kind to ropes and provides easy and predictable rope control.

The top bar has been designed with a very gentle curve that lets it work well with a very wide range of belay devices as it will not run up into the belay device and jam the ropes. The round profile also means it also handles Italian Hitches very smoothly.

The Fatboy is fully anodised and features a barrel made from premium 7075 alloy that has massive push in strength.
