An excellent axe for campfire work, light splitting cutting and carving

I was given mine on a visit to Sweden to meet the Branby brothers who run Gransfors Bruks.

It is small and light and will, due to the clever sheath design it will clip on to your belt.

Even with a small axe you can manage a lot: cutting branches in the garden or chop and split sticks for your camp fire. The wildlife hatchet has a 3" face and a 14" hickory handle and the head weighs 1 lb. It comes with a grain-leather sheath.

Very tempting if there are kids around, so keep an eye on it or show them how to be safe and supervise them.
