Walking Boots

Spend time choosing your walking boots, try on a few different models for different foot shapes.
Cheaper boots are generally softer and not as well shaped, a more expensive and higher quality walking boot will be formed on a last for up to 24 hours. The last is different for every size, and Meindl and Scarpa use different shaped lasts for different purposes. A wide foot for wider feet ( e.g. the Mendl Meran), a narrow last for climbing and scrambling boots, such as the Scarpa SL.
