Reindeer hide is one of natures great insulators, with its hollow fibre hair it will keep you warm for much longer than other types of hides or therma-rests and what ever they are all called. They are also beautiful on the wall or as a throw on your bed or sofa. They differ a bit in size from 4 to 5 feet in length and about 2.5 to 3.5 foot wide. The colouring of the hides differs from almost white to very dark brown.
Siliconed hide is intended for outdoor use, but can also be used indoors. It has been treated with silicone underneath which is waterproof so you use outdoors as well as inside. These hides are excellent for bringing on a camping trip, since they are very good insulators and also very comfortable to sleep on as they are so thick.
CARING FOR YOUR REINDEER HIDE:
They are not suitable as floor rugs and we strongly reccommend not to walk on them. They should be dried after use in a damp environment. Maintain by brushing, and ensure they are dried regularly to minimise shedding.
