Rescue Whistles and Signal Mirrors

Never be in the outdoors without a good quality whistle to summon help in an emergency, the standard signal is six long blasts once a minute. Don't expect a reply until mountain rescue are in sight, they no longer whistle back, when they used to some people stopped whistling when they heard a reply and became hard to locate! I have a whistle on every back pack and buoyancy aid I own.
