The standard in real emergency rations. With a five year shelf life from date of manufacture and waterproof inner packaging this is a worry free standby. The instructions see it as a three day lifeboat ration, but for a reasonable level of activity you will want one pack per person per 24 hours. This is not exciting food but a reliable and palatable ships biscuit type ration which can comfortably be eaten without water. They tend to get nibbled up when we have a pack open in the office.
