The original curved nut and probably the best selling piece of pro’ ever, Wild Country Rocks have had a radical makeover to bring them back to the forefront of technology.
As the ‘building blocks’ of any rack it is imperitive that the form and function of Rocks was as effective as possible, and considering the original design had changed little in 20 years it was felt that it was about time to re-invigorate the designs to make sure they were as cutting edge as the climbers who would utilise them.
The parameters of this process were to look at size, shape, weight and performance to see whether and how we could influence each of these to produce a better product.
The solutions we came up with seemed to have really hit the mark and created a wider range of better nuts to carry on the Rock traditon into the 21st century….

 Wild Country RockcentricsIts easy to see why Rockcentrics have become so popular, as they offer a lightweight low cost alternative to cams, look great and combine the concept of a old school 'Hex' and modern 'Rock' perfectly.
Now colour coded to make selection even easier. With multi-curved sides and tapered ends great placements are easy with this modern version of the classic hexcentric shape.
Sewn with Dyneema tape that goes with the flow of movement, hangs best over horizontals and allows more placement flexibility than a wire cable.
This amazingly light, simple and elegant design arose from a neat application of lateral thinking.
Rockcentrics combine concave and convex curvatures which are so effective in Rocks. Strength from triangulation forces is coupled with highly stable placements and exceptional versatility.
Beautifully made from thin wall extrusions of exceptionally durable, lightweight HE30 alloy, each Rockcentric is numbered clearly on the largest surface and equipped with a strong, lightweight colour coded Dyneema sling.
