Payment
If your activities are to take place in more than two months time we will ask for a non-refundable 25% deposit at the time of booking, and your balance will be due no later than two months before the date of activity. If your activities are to take place within two months, the full balance must be paid at the time of booking.
Cancellations by us:
If we are forced to cancel one or more of your activities because of safety, bad weather or other operational reasons we will offer you an alternative activity or the option of re-booking the intended activity for a new date. If an alternative activity is not available we will give you a full refund for every session we cancel.
Cancellations by you:
Once we have received your deposit we have a confirmed booking and contract with you for the dates and times you requested. Your deposit is not refundable. If you cancel all or part of your booking more than two months before your visit no further money will be due. If you cancel all or part of your booking within two months of your visit then the full balance of the trip is still due and no refund will be given. As with any holiday or trip away we recommend that you take out personal holiday insurance to cover cancellation.
When booking on behalf of a group, we would recommend you book for the minimum number in the party and add others to the group as they confirm. If your group numbers reduce less than two months before your activities the full balance for the number of places originally booked will still be due. However, for last minute bookings, and rafting on the River Tryweryn we need to know your final group numbers at the time of booking.
Customers with Disabilities
If you have a disability please call us to discuss your needs. Not all activities are suitable for all disabled participants, however we will do our best to help by working with our instructors to assess your individual needs relative to the activities. Our brochure is available electronically on our website for download or by e-mail on request.
Insurance
We carry £5 million public liability insurance. Details are available on request. Personal holiday insurance is not included in the price you pay and we recommend that you have adequate personal holiday insurance to cover cancellation and personal injury. We do not recommend any one provider and ask that you check that the activities you will be taking part in are covered under your policy. You may already be covered under any annual holiday insurance policy you may hold.
Transport
We ask you to use your own transport to activity sites where possible. Most of our activities are local to Llangollen but for some the best natural sites may be up to 35 miles away. We do have a minibus with 8 seats but we are unable to offer or guarantee free transport due to hire or reward taxi legislation. We can book local taxis for your group. Please let us know if you are travelling by public transport or will not have transport available for activities. Trains run to both Ruabon and Chirk stations (each about 7 miles from Llangollen). Buses run from Wrexham to Llangollen at least twice an hour during the day. National Express runs a daily London to Chester service, which stops in Llangollen. The River Tryweryn is near Bala and is not accessible by public transport.

If on the other hand you don’t have a good experience, please let us know as soon as you can - preferably at the time - so we can try to fix the problem. We really value your feedback as it helps us review what we do and improve our services. You can get feedback forms from your instructor or direct from the office.
Gift Vouchers
Our gift vouchers are available from any value from £42 upwards, and are valid for a full 12 months, for any of our activities or courses. They come with an information pack and personalised voucher or can be emailed in pdf format for you to print.
